Fated, Part 4 – Yeah, I know it’s about time!

So I know you’ve been patiently impatiently waiting for the release of Fated, Part 4. The last time I mentioned anything about a release date was back in the spring. It’s not like I’ve forgotten about it, although you probably think I have, but it’s been a crazy busy year here, and once again things haven’t gone as planned.

On my little wipe board I listed my goals for 2014.

Release Awakening – Spring 2014

Release Fated, Part 3 – Summer 2014

Release Fated, Part 4 – Fall 2014

Release Deceptions, Book 5 – Winter 2014 (December is what I’d hoped for)

I managed to cross two of the four items off the list as of November, and am hoping to have one more before 2015 arrives. Just this past Friday I finished the last of the rental remodels I was thrown into this year. I had to remodel 3 rentals this year because tenants decided to destroy them, yes trash them that we were left with no other choice but to remodel and sell.

Oh Fry St, you were a tidy little remodel, one that we hired out a good portion of the work since I just didn’t have the energy.
But Highlander, you alone took me 9 weeks of hard labor to become that diamond in the rough. And these pictures don’t show half the mess we had to clean up.

And lovely little Kingswood, you are now a shining star.

It took a lot of work, but you made someone’s dream come true.

So why am I telling you all this? So you know that when I set my goals for 2014, I had no idea that I’d be remodeling 3 rentals (my pocketbook didn’t like it either). I’m telling you this so maybe you’ll be patient just a little longer for Fated, Part 4. I want you to understand that, yes I write books, but I also have a family and things, like this, sometimes come up. It’s never perfect timing, it’s just what I have to work with.

Fated, Part 4 will be out in December, but as for Deceptions, I don’t and won’t have a firm date for a while.

I’m buckling down and will be working hard to get back on track for releases. I’m also buckling in because I think I’m in for a wild ride here soon. What are the odds that 3 properties come open, and have to be remodeled within months of each other? Slim… So now that I don’t have to worry about being a landlord anymore, and I can focus in on my writings, both the hubby and I feel something big is coming down the track. I’m ready and waiting for it, what about you?
