What have I been doing, you ask?

So, I sent Promises off to the copy editor weeks ago and you ask what have I been doing in the interim? Well, let me tell you…Let’s see, first I revised Cheyenne with the help of some fans. Now, it’s not like I changed the whole story, I just made parts a little stronger and smoother. And because of the changes, and this being Promises release month… I’m giving away the ebook version of Cheyenne, May 8-10th! Yup, if you want to see the changes, you can get your new free third edition for three days only. Follow the link: Cheyenne Free Promo

Alright, let’s see what else have I’ve been up to? Feeding the family. Yes, that’s right, feeding the family. When I get in my writing mode, they starve. I don’t cook, clean or do laundry. They have to fend for themselves… Okay, I do do some cleaning of the house or it would self destruct from the toxic substances my boys secret. I do take care of some of the laundry… I need clean clothes too. And I sometimes cook, contrariety to what Dr. Sam and my boys say, I don’t live on air.

So let’s see… I revised Cheyenne, fed the family and finally got an author picture done for Promises back cover. Whew, I’m exhausted already. Really, just getting a picture done for the back cover is a big deal.I hate having my picture taken, I’m usually the creative one behind the camera yelling at everyone else to look pretty, smile right, stand there, turn your head…. Yeah, 125 pictures later and I finally got one that the hubby liked. Pure torture….

And then finally the one the hubby approved of….
I think that about sums it up. Back to the writing cave….

So, they’ve had ribs, carne asada, pizza, frog eyed salad (Cody’s personal favorite), grilled chicken, fettuccine alfredo, and many more… Their tummies have been happy for the last four weeks and now they will be in shock as I go back into my writing cave, so to speak, and finish up the edits and prepare for the release of Promises.
